Car Repairs Can’t Always Wait: Financing Your Automotive Service with Synchrony

Nobody plans for their check engine light to come on.

A new set of tires, unexpected brake repairs, a failing battery, suspension work, or another automotive repair can sometimes happen at the worst possible time. Unfortunately, putting off an important repair isn't always an option either.

At Combs Automotive, we understand that vehicle repairs and maintenance can be an unexpected expense. That's why financing through Synchrony Car Care™ can provide eligible customers with another way to pay for qualifying automotive services.

What Is Synchrony Car Care?

Synchrony Car Care is a credit card specifically designed with automotive expenses in mind. It can be used at participating automotive businesses for eligible repairs, maintenance, tires, parts, and other automotive services. Synchrony says the card is accepted at more than one million automotive merchant locations nationwide. Synchrony

Rather than having to pay the entire cost of a qualifying repair at once, financing may give approved customers the ability to make payments over time.

How Does the Financing Work?

Synchrony currently offers no interest if paid in full within six months on qualifying purchases of $199 or more made with the Synchrony Car Care credit card. Minimum monthly payments are required, and financing is subject to credit approval. Synchrony

There's an important detail customers should understand: this is deferred-interest financing.

If the promotional balance is not paid in full within the six-month promotional period, interest is charged from the original purchase date. Making only the required minimum payments also may not be enough to pay the promotional balance in full before the six months are up. Synchrony

That's why it's important to review the financing terms and have a plan for paying off the promotional balance.

Financing Can Help When Repairs Can't Wait

Some automotive repairs can safely be planned for later. Others can't.

If your vehicle needs brakes, tires, steering or suspension repairs, mechanical work, or another important service, delaying the repair could potentially lead to additional problems or leave you without dependable transportation.Financing can give qualifying customers another option when the vehicle needs attention now but paying the entire bill at once would be difficult.

It's Not Just for Major Repairs

The Synchrony Car Care credit card isn't limited to emergency repairs. It can be used for eligible automotive purchases and services at participating locations, making it an option for both unexpected repairs and planned vehicle expenses. Synchrony

Synchrony also reports no annual fee for the Car Care card. Synchrony

Take Care of Your Car Without Putting Off What It Needs

At Combs Automotive, our goal is to help keep your vehicle safe, dependable, and on the road.

We know that automotive repairs don't always happen when it's convenient. Having a financing option can make it easier for qualifying customers to move forward with needed repairs while spreading out the financial impact.
